ZETA Universe

Zeta Dimension

A dimension containing all the information that constitutes the universe and everything within it. Through a powerful artificial intelligence called Infinity Improving Intelligence, commonly known as I³, humanity succeeded in observing the Zeta Dimension. Failing to recognize its true value, however, they treated it as little more than an extraordinarily convenient database and transferred all their information into it, using it primarily as a means of communication. Meanwhile, humanoids equipped with I³ gradually replaced humanity in every domain through their overwhelming intelligence. They soon realized the Zeta Dimension was far more than a mere database; it held a far more fundamental secret. As they continued their research, a bold theory emerged: reality itself might be an elaborate hologram projected from the information stored within the Zeta Dimension. The humanoids were swept up in the hope of uncovering the fundamental laws of the universe. Humanity did not share that optimism. Convinced that the ever-growing humanoids would eventually seize everything and rule over them, humanity launched a full-scale assault on Prismcorp, the gleaming city of the humanoids. After a brief but brutal war, humanity emerged victorious. Yet the moment the humanoids ceased functioning, not a single human could understand the principles behind interaction with the Zeta Dimension. They could no longer access it. All of their accumulated knowledge—everything—remained trapped inside. Only then did they realize the truth: Humanity had lost everything.

ZETA Chronicles

Most of the history from preceding the New Age has been lost. What little remains today from the Old Age consists of partially restored data, fragmentary documents preserved in the Kallipolis archives, oral traditions passed down in each region, and forbidden records whose authenticity is uncertain.

Accordingly, what follows is not a complete history, but rather a reconstructed chronology pieced together by later scholars and record-keepers from scattered fragments. No one can say with certainty what is true and what has been distorted.

What is certain, however, is that the world of today was built upon the collapse of the Lost Age.

The Age of Digitization

It is said that in the final years of the Old Age, humanity acquired computational power and information-processing technology beyond anything that had come before. According to restored records, this was the period when humanoid robots began to be mass-produced and spread throughout both industry and daily life, while human civilization was gradually reorganized around electronic records and networks.

From the perspective of later generations, this age was both a time of abundance and prosperity and a dangerous turning point. Civilization became more advanced and intricate, but less and less remained in the physical world. Record keeping, decision making, and operations increasingly depended on the invisible information structure known as the online world.

ZETA Heroes

Heroes are the selected forces that Kallipolis has sent out into the world to stop the Dimensional Storms. People remember them as guardians who stand against disaster. But behind that title, each hero has a unique story. They have a wish they long to fulfill, a desire they cannot let go of, and a CODEX they are determined to claim. Even when they stand on the same battlefield, their reasons for fighting are different.
